I called here with some silly questions and Danny was very helpful! He spent the time with me on the phone and made me feel like I was a priority even though they had more customers waiting. Great place!

Pretty cool people they have the best potting soil for vegetable gardening and way better prices their soil ids 14.00 for the brand I love yet at Ace hardware the same bag of ocean forest soil is 36.99 so over two times what grow generation charges and the men and woman at the Tigard location are professional and friendly. The Portland store that closed was scary and in a dangerous area. I feel really safe at this Tigard location and I would drive hours to buy my supplies at this great store this location is the best so if you want the best prices and the best selection then come to their store in Tigard. Life savers and really cool

The people are friendly but GrowGen bought up almost every other grow store in the area out or put out of business. Their pricing is high and are usually out of product. Oh yeah, crappy hours too! Between GrowGen and Hawthorne the grow supply market in Portland is in shambles!

It's always a pleasure to come to the shop and talk to the guys there, even if I don't really need anything I enjoy just coming by. I really like getting their opinion on things, as well as just having some good ole' conversation. I never felt like they try to steer me to buy something just because it is expensive. I originally went in to shop their Down To Earth products and over time pretty much got the entire selection. I do wish they would stock Some Gaia Green but they said there wasn't much demand for it. They got a sampler table which is pretty sweet to come and try some new products, get some stickers and magazines. My favorite retail thing so far has been their new product section where they get items that aren't totally in the system but available for local customers to buy and try out like the. I really dig what they did with the front room and how they partnered up with some local nursery/plant retailers to stock their plants in there for display but also for sale. They got some sweet cacti in there. They pretty much have everything you can look for. From bottles to dry amendments, mycorrhizae, bacterial supplements and more. All type of hydro equipment, CO2, lights

First time in and for a co2 tank swap. Great place and prices! Customer service was spot on.
